Well Thomas since you were not able to post about the readings this wk i thought i might fill you in on what i considered to be important from the readings. Firstly, trust, honesty and community were the overriding ythemes of importance. Also, good will ambassadors was a good point too. For example if you have 100 employees and they all love their jobs because the employer makes internal PR good then you automatically have 100 goodwill ambassadors for your company. If they each tell two people about how much they like their jobs you then have 300 goodwill ambassadors for your company just by keeping your employees happy. Finally i believe caring to be an important message for large companies especially to portray. If companies care through consultation, collaboration and negotiation especially, they are viewed as part of the community rather than running in opposition with the community.
